An admittedly more thorough Derby reference. Includes all the info there is on the Kentucky Derby, plus general information about the track. Derby lovers will love the daily Barn Notes leading up to Derby Day, plus other features at the official Kentucky Derby Web site.
Kentucky Derby Museum
Located on the grounds of Churchill Downs, the Derby Museum lets you relive Derby Day everyday. Site offers an overview of the Derby, the Musuem's exhibits, an online gift shop, a kids' corner plus its latest news and events.
Courier-Journal
Louisville's hometown newspaper provides in-depth Derby coverage for the entire Triple Crown season. Includes feature articles and interviews, Derby contender ratings, a TrackTalk section monitoring the events happening at the Downs plus a host of other features. A definite bookmark the week or two (or even month or two) before Derby.
Triple Crown Mania: Bloodhorse.com
One of the leading horse racing publications online and off provides this special package specifically dedicated to the Triple Crown. Includes many of the same features as Call to the Derby Post, including a list of contenders, a schedule of prep races, frequent reports on the prep race season (by horse racing journalist Steve Haskin) and much more Derby-related material. Another definite bookmark for the Derby aficionado.

A great resource for not just information on the Kentucky Derby, but for horse racing in general. This site has everything from how much it costs to enter a horse into the Kentucky Derby (a lot) to the Dosage Index numbers of the Derby contenders. You'll also find book reviews of titles related to horse racing, a very impressive and extensive link library, and ways to subscribe to their mailing list.
